IGSSA Sporting Awards
Carnival Sports
The IGSSA Carnival sports of Swimming, X-Country and Athletics sees students competing for IGSSA Year Group Pennants as well as a Champion School Pennant and Trophy. The Year Group Pennant is awarded to the top placing School in each Year Group/Age Division, whilst the Champion School Pennant and Trophy is awarded to the Overall Champion School following the combined Year Group totals.
The performances of individuals who break IGSSA records at Carnival Events will be acknowledged at the Presentation Ceremony of Carnivals and be published in future Carnival Programs. Any other awards for individual performances in Team and Carnival Sports are managed independently by member schools who have their own criteria for the awarding of sport participation and excellence.
Team Sports
All IGSSA Team Sports have results collated for every division. The winning School in each division is to be awarded an IGSSA Pennant.
